About MAPP Wax:

MAPP wax is a maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene wax, produced by grafting maleic anhydride (MAH) molecules onto the main chain of polypropylene (PP). This process introduces polar functional groups into the non-polar PP molecular chain, transforming it into an efficient coupling agent and adhesion promoter. The final product, MAPP wax, can act as a "bridge" between different materials (such as polymers and fillers), significantly improving material compatibility and interfacial adhesion.

Our core advantages:

The performance of this product's MAPP wax is comparable to industry-leading products (such as EPOLENE® E-43P and A-C® 950P). Its unique combination of properties achieves excellent results in various applications:

Enhanced Adhesion: The polar anhydride groups in MAPP wax form strong bonds with glass fibers, metals, and other polar materials;

Improved Compatibility: Acts as a compatibilizer in polymer blends, improving filler dispersion and enhancing overall material uniformity;

Optimized Rheology: In hot melt adhesives, it can reduce viscosity, facilitating processing and application.

Regarding High Grafting Rate MAPP Resin:

High grafting rate MAPP resin is a special grade of MAPP product with a higher concentration of maleic anhydride grafting. A higher grafting rate means more reactive sites, making it an excellent compatibilizer and coupling agent for demanding applications, especially in the field of engineering plastics.

Our core advantages:

The high grafting rate MAPP resin in this product offers performance comparable to DuPont™ Fusabond® resins, making it an ideal choice for enhancing engineering plastic blends and film packaging materials. The higher grafting rate brings the following advantages:

Excellent Mechanical Properties: Significantly improves the tensile strength, flexural modulus, and impact strength of polymer blends;

Enhanced Interfacial Adhesion: More reactive sites lead to stronger bonding between different phases in polymer blends, creating tougher and more durable materials;

Improved Processability: Optimizes the melt flow characteristics of polymer blends, facilitating processing and improving product surface finish.
